Fridges on the Internet...

Obviously as we move towards more advanced technology, we start to see items upgraded to include the benefits of this. An obvious example is the iPhone, now a phone, ipod, a typewriter, a game console etc all rolled into one as technology improves and things start to integrate.

I didn't expect to see the latest innovation from Samsung though, which is a refrigerator with built-in Internet!

The model is called the 'Zipel e-diary' features a 10 inch touchscreen, with Wi-Fi technology and is set up to display news, weather, recipes or photos right on your fridge door. I'm not sure whether you can actually stand there and browse the internet in the normal way whilst looking through your fridge, but
I certainly hope so at a price of around £1.6 million.

Samsung are apparantly targeting the domestic market, and have no plans to sell it abroad. I guess there are some pretty rich Koreans out there.
